We are thrilled to see so much increased interest in our program and to reward those who keep telling their friends about us, we are rolling out a referral program. In short, you and your friend get $45 off one month of lessons!

For Families who are Already Enrolled:

Refer your friends to So i Heard Music and receive $45 off one of your lesson plans when your friend’s family enrolls one or more of their students! Save $45 per consecutive month for each family you refer to So i Heard Music. One $45 off discount per month per family referred, not per student. For example, if you refer five families who all enroll in a recurring monthly lesson plan, you’ll receive a $45 discount on a single lesson plan for five consecutive months. There is no limit, so send as many of your friends our way as you can!

For Families Referred to So i Heard Music By their Friends:

Enroll in our lesson program or book a trial lesson before October 31st, 2023, and you both save $45 on your first full month of services at So i Heard Music upon enrollment. You must enroll by October 31st, 2023, to activate the discount.

The fine print: Referral rewards do not convert to cash and can only be redeemed on whole-month lesson invoices upon enrollment. The referral reward can only be gained when a new student is referred to So i Heard. If you currently attend or have attended lessons at So i Heard, no reward is earned for either party.

All So i Heard Music students enroll in weekly music lessons in their instrument — piano, voice, guitar, drums, music production, songwriting, and more.

So i Heard Music provides private online & in-person music lessons according to our So i Heard Music teaching methodology, inspired by the Kodaly Method for Music Education, which takes into account differences in the ways and rates at which children learn. In order to maximize motivation, the So i Heard Music method uses technology to keep things interesting. Once a piece is rehearsed and up to speed, the instructor gives the student a chance to write their own songs or even record their work!

We encourage students to be creative and write their own songs! Through this method, we’ve seen a dramatic increase in the motivation levels over those seen with typical private lesson methods.

While we customize the approach to each student, weekly lessons usually do conform to an underlying structure. Within a typical lesson, students may encounter reading exercises, rhythmic exercises, hand coordination exercises, and maybe even songwriting and music recording assignments!

Sam’s approach to education is based on the idea that all students learn differently, and all instructors should be allowed to follow the energy and excitement of their students. If a student wants to learn pop music, that’s what they’re going to do! While allowing leeway to teach what the student wants to learn, instructors also work on traditional techniques in a way that keeps kids motivated and engaged.
