Our Intro to So i Heard Music class is new and improved!
So i Heard Music’s ‘Intro to Music’ class is perfectly catered to younger beginners, ages 5-7, who thrive in a group environment and want to explore the fundamentals of learning how to play music.
New, Updated Structure
In our new Intro to Music class, piano is used as a tool to create a foundation of music knowledge. Each week will have a different instrument used to supplement students’ learning and keep the class fun and engaging.

At So i Heard Music we understand that each student learns at their own pace regardless of age. This understanding lead us to update how we structure our Intro to Music class.
Instead of having our Intro class run for a limited 4-weeks, we want to give students the choice to decide when they feel ready to graduate to one-on-one music instruction.
Our Goal
Through constant review, students will gain confidence in their comprehension of fundamental music terms, ideas, and practices.
Students will learn how to collaborate with others, be creative, and overall foster their interest in learning and making music.
