Since 2013, we’ve helped thousands of students develop real musical skill, confidence, and a lifelong love of music. Our students don’t just learn notes—they grow as performers, collaborators, and creative thinkers.
We are proudly independent and locally owned. Unlike corporate franchises with remote management and one-size-fits-all curricula, our programs are thoughtfully designed, actively refined, and taught by professionals who are deeply invested in each student’s progress.
We offer beginner through advanced instruction in voice, piano, guitar, drums, trumpet, songwriting, music production, and more. Every lesson is personalized, goal-driven, and built to bring out the best in each student—whether they’re just starting out or preparing for serious performance opportunities.
Families choose us from Millburn, Maplewood, South Orange, Short Hills, Summit, Union, Springfield, Livingston, New Providence, and beyond because they want something better than generic music lessons. If you’re looking for a place where teaching quality, student outcomes, and community actually matter, you’re in the right place.
Starting at age 7, music lessons are fun, personalized, and rooted in real musical growth for beginners and beyond. Every student learns essential skills — note reading, technique, and rhythm—through our innovative So i Heard Music Method, utilizing technology to keep things interesting.
Our experienced instructors tailor each lesson to your child’s goals and learning style. Whether your child is just starting out, or already jamming to pop hits, our structured approach keeps them engaged every step of the way. Students have the opportunity to use GarageBand and other recording software to keep things fun and engaging, while continuing to learn and improve.
All music lesson students ages 8+ have the opportunity to join a band in our Performers Program, combining their weekly one-on-one instruction with band-style group classes. Students apply what they’ve learned, collaborate with peers, and build confidence from playing together.
Group learning increases motivation and retention, and it’s way more fun!
